St. Petersburg was the capital of the Russian Empire for over two centuries. On this tour, we'll reminisce about the history of this glorious capital, show you the city's ceremonial center, and its most famous architectural ensembles: the Spit of Vasilievsky Island, the Field of Mars complex, and the Smolny Monastery. You'll see the constellation of three squares—Palace Square, St. Isaac's Square, and Senate Square—the Bronze Horseman monument to Peter the Great, the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood Museum, St. Michael's Castle and Summer Garden, the legendary cruiser Aurora, and much more.

Excursion to the "Petrovskaya Aquatoria" museum-model, where you can trace the history of the Northern Capital and the birth of the Russian Navy in interactive miniature form.
All buildings, including those lost, have been recreated as they appeared in the mid-18th century. Ancient estates, parks, and palaces provide a stunning backdrop for city life during the reign of the Russian emperors, from Peter the Great to Catherine the Great.

Climb the colonnade of St. Isaac's Cathedral for a picturesque bird's-eye view of the city center.

Bus tour "Under the Shade of Tsarskoye Selo Gardens" with a visit to the Catherine Palace with the famous Amber Room and Catherine Park.
Tsarskoye Selo is the beloved summer residence of Empress Catherine II. The center of the ensemble is the Catherine Palace, an outstanding Baroque monument, where the unique Amber Room was recreated for the tercentenary of St. Petersburg: its walls are decorated with "gifts of the sun." Adjacent to the palace is a picturesque park consisting of formal and landscaped sections.

9:45 PM Departure to Novosibirsk.
6:10 AM Arrival at Tolmachevo Airport, Novosibirsk.
