TO SHANTARA
Shemonaikha is one of the first settlements of the Kazakh Altai on the banks of the Uba River. One of the first mentions refers to 1766. The writer Ivanov, the author of the books Shadows Disappear at Noon and Eternal Call, was born here. It was Shemonaikha that he called Shantar in his works.

08:00 departure to Shemonaikha by bus.
A visit to the local history museum, which is pride and is considered one of the best in East Kazakhstan. The museum is located in the building that housed the school where Anatoly Ivanov studied.
Interactive program in the museum.
Visit to the Church of the Transfiguration of the Savior. The wooden temple was erected, approximately, on the same place where a stone church with the same name was destroyed in Soviet times.
Dinner. City tour.
Excursion to Maryin cliff, which is the hallmark of Shemonaikha. On the cliff stands a sculpture of Marya Voronova, installed at the initiative of the public association "Anatoly Ivanov Foundation". This place is a symbol of love and fidelity, which young people swear to each other.
16:00 departure to Ust-Kamenogorsk.
