The lake was formed as a result of melting glaciers, it has crystal clear water, in which in good weather the peaks of Belukha are reflected. There is a popular belief that if you bathe in it three times, all illnesses will go away.
The Roerich Stone or Prayer Stone is considered energetically strong and a particularly revered place by followers of Roerich's teachings. Here people are charged with good and bright energy, they come here to ask for their wishes to come true.
